      1. Prepare the batter:

Beat the soft butter with sugar, vanilla sugar and a pinch of salt until creamy. Add the eggs one at a time and mix in well. Combine the flour, cocoa and baking powder in a bowl, sift them into the batter and mix everything together with the cream into a smooth chocolate batter.

      2. Bake the cake:

Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake on the middle rack for about 50 minutes. Then let the cake cool in the pan for approx. 10 minutes, turn it out and let it cool completely.

      1. Use a knife to trim the top layer flat. Also cut out an elongated piece of the surface and carefully set it aside.

      2. In the removed piece, cut out a rectangular area in the middle as the playing-field frame. Leave more border on the short sides – that's where the score displays will go later.

      3. Place the cut-out piece back onto the cake – either on parchment paper or directly on the base structure.

      4. Melt the chocolate glaze and pour it over the entire playing field. Smooth it out and let it dry briefly.

      5. Decorate the bottom edge of the cake with the „Football Champion“ sprinkle mix.

      6. Decorate the score displays:
Attach chocolate balls or labeled tiles to the end sides, for example – get creative here!

      7. Melt the Happy Drip Grass Green, spread it generously over the playing field and let it set. Now attach the goals made from gummy bands and let them dry.

      8. Melt the Creamy White Drip, fill it into a small piping bag and draw the playing-field lines. Let dry.

      9. Skewer gummy bears onto wooden sticks (alternating by team color) and place them on the cake. Put a chocolate ball in the middle – kickoff! ⚽️
